Default receiver hitch

I want to remove my receiver hitch because it is rusted out and i dont want it to start to rust out the frame where it is bolted to I think i have one from the factory and i was wondering does the jeep already have nuts welded to the frame for a hitch or is there a nut i have to put a wrench on to remove it and if so how do i get to it.

No you dont have to put a wrench on it. The bolts wont come out without a fight though. I had to remove my trailer hitch to install my lift and it took forever. Spray lots of pb blaster on the bolts, this might help a little.

I've been wanting to take mine off as well, but it is definitely putting up a fight. PB Blaster thus far has been unsuccessful in freeing up the nuts.
