If it isn't the motor, then would it be a problem with the switch?
The other 2 rocker switches (fog & defrost) work so i don't think it's that.

When I got my Jeep the wiper arm was missing. The locking nut of the wiper arm was still on, and when I tried to undo it, the spindle broke.
Got a second hand arm. Drilled a little hole in the spindle, threaded it, bolted everything together and now I've got a proper working rear wiper.
Getting the complete wiper arm with the spray nozzle still attached was a bit of a pain. Lots of people out on the internet selling rear wiper arm without those bits.

I took my rubber hose off so when people creep up my aiss i squirt them in their windshields and they back off, but than when i went to put it back on i broke the nipple coming from the mechanism. So now its only good for squirting not cleaning, so it works half ***
Nice, my dad was following me home when i bought mine and was yelling, didn't realize the hose was off......and yes mine works, but i need a new blade and I guess you can only get them at the dealer is that true?

I got one that was the right size, autozone i think, but the adapter wouldn't fit the arm. none of them would. I'll try somewhere else then, they didn't have a specific "rear window" one.

4.0L/ aw4/231, manual windows/doors, gauges with dummy lights (swapped for a full gauge cluster), actual carpet not that vinyl.. kinda wish it was tho.
I have a rear wiper ( the arm itself was missing when I bought it, but the fluid sprays and the motor works. )

Interesting that you say that. My XJ is a base model, with odd options I guess.
