rear wiper

Default rear wiper
The rear wiper on my 1999 xj sport works but only cleans a portion of the window. I have changed the blade. But between 11 and 1 it does not wipe the top 20% of the window. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like the spring in the wiper arm went bad...

Making sense, pulled on the arm, no return force. Thank you. Any tips on a spring. I just searched and only came up with whole arms. Btw what is the cord that extends along the arm?

It is the washer fluid hose

thank you, i think i can recall, that a long time ago it used to spray. now nothing, is there a second reservoir or..?

Thanks for the help. Pulled a spring from one at the yard. Annoying to install. Window wipes even now.
