Default Rear Windsheild wiper problem

My rear windshield wiper doesn't work. All I hear when I press the button is hear it click. I took it apart and it looks fine. The relay for it to wipe every 10 seconds or so is making the clicking. Is that normal? Or could the relay be clicking cause it's bad and that might be why my motor doesn't kick on?

I know my relay doesnt "click" when I engage my rear wiper so I would start there.

Every so often mine will not work when I want.

I found out though that when I push the button down to WASH the thing works.

Tells me the wiper motor mechanism is working, so it should be something else. Probably that relay?

Its the ground of the wiring. I bought a brand new OEM wiper motor and it didn't work too and found it was the ground. A fiberglass hatch is not metal.

I have the same problem. I don't see a ground coming from the rear wiper motor assembly. Can you advise where I should be looking? Thanks.

you can lube it up with PBB I did, now mine works. Takes some time and saves a load of cash. Next I want to re-gear it for quicker operation. I know there;s a write-up here, just have to find it.

I had the same problem. I fixed mine by popping hood and cleaning all connections going into the reservoir.
