If it's the regular rear window from 1984-1996 its easy. I had my 1992s out a few times. First time to remove the tint, and second to repair a defrost line.

Need 2 people..

Wait for a warm day and open the rear so you can gently press upwards on the edge of the window. It should start to pop out of the rubber. I used a set of bicycle tire levers (available at Walmart for under 4 bux) and wd-40 to easily weasel the glass out.

Make sure you desolder the wires for the rear-defroster before starting removal.

To install, simply lay the glass on the cleaned rubber gasket (I removed mine and scrubbed all the dirt out of it) and use some soapy water solution and walk the rubber around the new glass with the tire levers.

Its should be easy depending on how soft the rubber gasket is.

Here is a picture of the tire lever.. They come in a 2-pack and come in handy for many other projects..

I recommend running to sears and picking up a cotter pin extractor if you don't have one. File the point off a bit so it doesn't tear into the rubber. Also get a can of silicone lubricant and a cotton rope about 1/8 to 3/16 in diameter. Go inside and pull the edge of the molding down slightly and spray silicone along the top and down the sides. start in one of the top corners and push the glass out. It may help to pull the rubber lip down to help it start out. Once you have a corner out work your way round until its out completely. When you re install insert the string into the grove in the gasket with the ends overlapping at the bottom center and spray the inside edge of the gasket with silicone. Have someone hold the glass in position while you get inside and pull one end of the string to pull the rubber lip inside. I would suggest working around one bottom corner and partially up one side then grab the other end of the string and do the other bottom corner and finish at either top corner. The person outside needs to apply pressure behind you as you pull the rubber in. It you have and spots that didn't pull in completely you can use the cotter pin tool to pull it in manually. That's how I've been doing them for 30yrs. piece of cake.
