Rear window heater (how to cancel the Timer) Help
good day ..
Installed the Arabian Gulf Specifications tail lights , would like a clean installation for the fog switch, so connect them to the rear window heater switch (don't use the heater) its working great but the problem is it shut down automatically after 5 minutes !! if i knew that i well not do it from the beginning.
any way to keep it working ?
There is a timer somewhere i just want to shut it off
Thanks

order a stock foglight switch and replace the defroster switch, or take it apart and see if you can see how to disable the timer.(probably a circuit board back there)
just looked at a pic of the switch you cant take it a part but you could replace it with a foglight switch http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-98-99-00-...05%26rk%3D2%26

the circuit board is in the switch so i assume you just wired the lights off the wireing that used to go to the rear defroster? if so just change the switch up front and the lights should stay on. or if you have factory foglights up front you could wire up to those so front and back are on at the same time
