Default rear speakers

How do you get the rear speakers out on a 99 sport, non Infinity four speaker setup? They are in a sound bar on the celing. Do you just pull the grilles off the headliner and remove the speakers? I really don't want to break anything

for mine i just pried the grills off - don't worry, they're designed to. as for the speakers mine were riveted so i just drilled them out and re-riveted the new ones back in - real clean and very simple - fear not my friend!

Well it sounds simple enough. I figured that the grilles came off, but it never hurts to be sure about something.
