Okay i have tooken headliner down to replace and i want to install new speakers.
I dont know how to run speaker wire to the lift gate.
I have found 3 wires that run to nowhere just sitting there, is that the speaker wire?

Colors of the wires are Purple/Yellow Yellow and Some sort of pinkish wire.

 

We need to know what year your Cherokee is... If it is a '93-'94 then the rear speaker wires should be as follows:

Left Rear (+) Brown with Yellow stripe
Left Rear (-) Brown with light Blue stripe
Right Rear (+) Dark Blue with White stripe
Right Rear (-) Dark Blue with Orange stripe

go here and check your yearhttp://www.the12volt.com/installbay/vehicles.html my 94 had no rear speaks or wire i had to run them over head down the drivers side headliner trim pcs and in to the hatch with the other factory ones its not that hard
