Rear sound bar speakers

Factory equipment seems to be 5.25" speakers, but it seems like some guys put 6.5" speakers in there. What's involved in making the larger speakers fit?

Edit: I tried searching, but came up empty. Sorry if I'm rehashing well-established info here.

What about mounting? Just use self-drilling screws into whatever the sound bar is made of?

I put 6.5's in mine....no mods just install...

I put 6.5 in all 4 with no modification at all. As long as there not extremely big 6.5 in theyll fit fine. The original speaker grilles still fit ontop too.
