I tried searching but does any one know the ride height length of a stock xj rear shock on level ground, eye to eye.Mine are relocated higher and I need shorter shocks and think stock length might work.

 

Let me re word this...
Can anybody with a STOCK Xj tell me how long your rear shocks are eye to eye on level ground(ride height)? and without saggy springs!!These relocated shock mounts are making me crazy!I think stock length shocks might work even though I am at 4.5 or 5 in the rear.Thanks in advance

 

Just went out and measured the wifes '99 sport for ya and it's at 17 1/8 (center to center) on the driveway with a pretty much empty cargo area...
