Looking for rear U-Joints for 85 XJ with D35, all stock. I have seen the recommended is the Spicer 1310, but no one local carries those in stock. One does have the 5-153X Spicer which is listed as fitting but didn't list cap sizes or overall size to be sure. Also the Moog/NAPA 280 size are listed as fitting. Just wondering if these are all the right size for the rear drive shaft?

 

The 153 Spicers will fit fine but you'll have to grease them. No experience with the Moog/Napa ones.

If you do want to not grease them, 5-1310X is your best choice and they are stronger as well. This is the supplier I have used:

I recommend you replace the straps at the same time.

I just can't believe none of the local shops carry the 1310's in stock, they seem to have everything else.
