Rear main seal questions
I am doing a rear main seal, oil pan gasket, oil pump, and oil filter housing gasket install on my 97 xj. On the rear main seal cap between the girdle and crank what gasket maker do you all recommend putting on the edges of the cap when putting it back on? Also do I need to add gasket maker to the oil pan? Anyone that has done this job have any input or info?
