thanks for all the help. so to recap it looks like:
-springs are a full packs not aal's
-shocks are upside down haha
-best option might be to remove the plates, and the block since my rear is about 1 inch higher than front anyways.
-Also to level the rear if it looks lower than the front, maybe I could get like a half inch block to put in there since it already has a taller shackle

they're factory for an '86 comanche. matter of fact, for every comanche I've ever owned...those are factory.
that is not an aftermarket spring pack. bastard pack, maybe. but basically it looks like the result of those springs is higher load capacity, not lift. he's getting the lift from the shackles and blocks.
to me, that says get some new springs.

That makes sense that it might be a bastard pack, because it does not have much arc in the springs spring, but they do seem pretty rigid. here are some pictures I have of it on level ground.

So far I am thinking that JeepCoMJ is right and the springs are some combination of other leafs. They really have little or no arc so that makes me doubt that they are 3.5" RE packs. I guess my best bet is to just replace the springs with the 3.5" RE springs to match the front lift. I need to get a SYE installed and I can't really do so until the suspension is setup correctly so I might just go ahead and get the springs.

Here's my take on it, it looks like a factory spring set up with aal and possibly bastard pack combo with lift shackles. I agree with the op that said try the correct shocks (mounted correctly) and loose the landing plate for the bump stop.
Good luck!

thanks for all of your help everyone. I am hopefully going to get some new 3.5" RE leaf springs to fix the mess of a suspension in the rear and get rid of the blocks. Does anyone know any real benefits of having the bump-stop landing plates? I mean does anyone think I should keep them?
keep them. once your springs have the proper arch, they will keep your tires from hitting the wheel wells.
as far as the shocks go, last set of RE shocks I had, mounted "upside down".
there is only the right way for the shocks to mount...and there are different "right ways" for different shocks.
