Default rear leaf spring

i want to put on my leafs springs today. Problem is one of the leaf springs is missing a "metal clip" that i would assume give the spring some support...any ideas on how to fabricate one or what i could use to take the one that is missing spot? thanks for your ideas!

i cant get a pic. of it on here but its the wrap to hold it together, its only missing on one side of one of the springs..if i put pressure on it, it spreads..if that makes a picture for you..

About 10 bucks at any two bit parts store, put them on and get a clip if you need to drive it just dont go off road till you get one.Or make one by looking at one on the other spring not very hard bud, good luck

someone made their own clips for retaining the leafs. i think they had made a bastard pack and needed taller clips... it looks super easy if you have the tools and know how, but for the rest of us the hardware store is the spot. normally id say the JY, but the new hardware is gonna be super cheap and more reliable than from the JY..
