Rear end makes noise when taking turns help appreciated!
So when taking a turn the rear end of the jeep makes a noise almost like the rear tires are rubbing or something, why could this be? I don't wanna make anything worse then it is so I'm holding off on wheeling for the time being. Thanks a bunch geargrabbinxj, (Shane)

Do you have a limited-slip rear diff? If so it might need a fluid change with a slug of limited-slip additive.
You could raise the rear of the jeep and spin the rear wheels by hand, see if you can re-create the noise to pinpoint it.

When I'm driving though usually taking turns or accelerating from a dead stop it almost sounds like I hit a rumble strip for a split second. Any thoughts I'm gonna jack it up real quick and get back to you

Check your U joints and pinion bearings. I had the same problem on my pick up it was a bad mid shift bearing that made my u joints wear real bad.

Well that will make the ride more comfortable but I doubt think that would cause the rumble strip feeling when you say that I assume the vehicle is shaking so bad you can't see through the mirrors due to the vibration

No it's isn't that bad it's very faint it just reminds me of that alittle, it sounds similar to tire rub almost like I have mud tires for a split second as if they were singing sort of if you can make sense of that.

It's a locking differential that replaces the spider gears in the rear so that both rear tires turn together for better traction. They typically make a popping type sound when you turn.

Well if I ever dump the clutch it's a one tire fire and its bone stock. I don't think that was a factory option, and it isn't really a popping sound more of a tire rub sound
