Default Rear Driveshaft Dilemma

I have a factory 1998 Cherokee Classic that we handed down to our daughter. This may be coincidence but ever since she hit a tree head-on (no airbag deploy) it keeps twisting u-joints on the rear driveshaft and it falls off on the street. What would cause this to happen as everything else is ok (radiator....blah blah blah). The front driveshaft apparently is not affected because it is driveable in 4x4 on the front driveshaft. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. The tree contact was just enough to break the fiberglass around the headlight.

Wrong length driveshaft? Wallowed bolt holes/stripped threads where the ujoint strap bolts go? Damaged yoke on the TC or axle?
