Back in the day, I seem to remember that shops could re-arch leaf springs.
Do shops still do this? And if so, would it be possible to get 2" (+/-) of lift out of stock XJ springs?
I was discussing lifting my XJ with some work buddies who have mechanic experience, and one of them suggested re-arching. I was dumbfounded at such an obvious possible solution that I had overlooked.
What are your thoughts/experiences?
Thanks!

The shop is closer to me now.
Search "Superior Spring" they are now a chain and made me custom coils for my old ford mud bogger also.
They even make ubolts cheap while you wait!
