It really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The toughest part for me was getting to some of the nuts that hold the tcase to the tranny. I'm glad i took the case out since i'd never done it before, but if I did it again I would probably leave it in. I don't know what I would have done without a short (like 4" long) box end wrench. Cant get a normal size wrench or socket on especially the one behind the exhaust. There might be an easier way, but i don't know it. The porc directions are very vague if you ask me, I looked at two or three write ups online to help. Just be sure to take note of the oil pickup line you have to remove from the bottom of the pump and think ahead to get it hooked back up when it goes back together. You also need a metric bolt for the speed sensor. Don't ask me why its not supplied.

working great so far, i just redrilled the mounting hole. Ill be getting an adj heavy duty one in the next couple months. Just spent my money on a sye, and 2 new tires
what kind of trac bar you thinking about? getting cuz im thinking about upgrading while i got the money and i figured i should get stuff out of the way so i dont have to do it later once i go bigger

Take a look at the JKS track bars..Nice and solid. I have an RE1600 and so far so good.

the extreme duty RE RE1660. But that wont happen til i get adjustable spacers, and put my shackles on the rear, probably a few months from now.

Couldn't get it to stop popping when I turned....even with it properly greased, torqued to their recommended setting, and the front axle centered within less than a quarter inch of dead center. Torqued it down some more and the popping went away and hasn't come back for well over a year now.
