Default RC X-flex control arm issue

Ive always had this problem with my control arms. My upper control arms pop and bang when they are pushed upwards. Like if i slam on my brakes and the control arm is forced up into the unibody. It makes a poping noise. Im pretty sure its the bolt on the unibody side of the upper control arm. it is as tight as it will go but it seems like the bolt is to small for the diameter of the johnny joint bushing. So no matter how tight it is, their is still play in it.

Did you guys use bigger hardware on the upper control arms?

Most johnny joints use 1/2 inbolts, Pretty sure that stock bolts are close to 3/8 or whatever the metric version is. so yeah you wil probrably have to dril the bolt holes out a lil and put the correct size in
