Default Rattle from pass. side rear

So I've got this rattle from the passenger side rear of the jeep. Seems to be coming from the wheel. I havn't taken off the wheel / hub to check it out. Any ideas on what you guys think it may be? I'm thinking (hopefully) a spring or something broke on the brake shoes. Just curious if you guys have had any similar situations.

Does it rattle only when you are moving? Is the center cap on your wheel loose?

Only when moving, yes, very loud. I'll check the center cap, but not thinking it's that simple... Thanks

Inspection is your friend. Take the wheel and drum off to see what is there that may be causing the noise. You can NOT find out on the computer.

Maybe he snapped a shock bolt or two. Those brittle little things are like pretzels. Describe the rattle. Constant? rhythm? penny in a jar?

Definitly need further inspection. Remember sounds echo alot under a vehicle check both sides... Put a lil torque on your U-bolts and make sure the plate is not warped either. Brakes is more likely your problem though. Keep us informed

Angler did you get a chance to do the inspection yet. I have been thinking and I can only come up with a loose shock or brakes for you to hear it and not feel much to confirm that it is not one of these two choices.

Turns out that it was just a little counter-weight that the weld had broken on the brake drum. I just popped it off, shouldn't make any difference.
