rainy day water test,,,good!!
this is the first real rain since i struggled with wet carpet , rusted floors ,and hidden frustrating leaks.
my 00 spent the day in the rain,parked and on the road,about 8 hours. i just took a short run and parked inside,its still raining!
pulled up carpet on both sides,felt the padding and looked with a light. its cold,,,but bone dry!!
the fix is in. my methode is ugly and will now be closed up but it took this opening to get at and around the air vent where water got thru. i also put in a dam but that only slowed it a little. my other posts show the special brush i made to mop the sealer around the vent, messy but necessary
