Consider replacing your spark plugs. I was having this issue on my Tundra, new plugs helped immensely. Whether it was the brand or the smaller gap, can't say, but big difference especially with the AM radio.

If you run your power wire and RCA wires next to each other it causes the static you're getting.

I got power wire on right side and RCA on drivers side. I noticed the radio antenna wire is in the pass. Kick panel could that have a play in it since my amp power wire is on the same side?
