Default Radiator Steaming too much when forging?

Hey guys, did some wheeling last weekend and went through one water/mud hole.

After i went through it i saw steam and thought it was normal, but it wouldnt stop. so i shut the engine off and it stopped. after a 5 minute cool down i started jeep and engine was smoking again. not as much and at random times. it stopped completely after 20 minutes.

I just want to know if this is normal, the other jeeps and trucks didnt steam at all after like 2 minutes after the water hole.

the water wasnt that deep, can it be that there is some mud on the radiator?

help/comments/suggestions please.

here are some pics.

That water looks pretty muddy, it takes longer to dry and will steam off of the exhaust for a while.

Slow down? Those 6-8ft plumes of water on the outside of the front tires.......the same plumes of water are on the inner sides of the front tires......they're not 6-8ft high because the hood is closed (deflecting the water on top of the motor).
