Default radiator replacement issue....help needed

hey guys, new to this forum, been over at jeepsunlimited for a long while.

needed to replace the radiator in my 97 cherokee. picked up a 3 core all metal radiator from radiatorbarn.com. pulled the old one out put the new one in and when i went to put the radiator bracket back on top of the radiator the screws coming from the top of the radiator don't line up with the holes in the radiator bracket.....everything else lined up nicely........anyone else have this issue?
any suggestions?????

thanks a ton

Drilling new holes would solve the problem

thanks guys.....drilled the new holes, unfortunately the threads coming out of the radiator aren't tall enough anyway to go through the bracket.....oh well. seems pretty solid.
any thoughts?

also when refilling with coolant, any idea how much it takes to fill it? just pour it into the radiator??? any advice is appreciated, thanks guys

I just mean with the threads coming out and not being in the right location. A three row all metal seems like a nice radiator - espeically for only $150!

did they send you the right one? did you ask them about it. I would say get on the phone and get a new one.

well if you buy non pre mixed coolant it will take you about one gallon of that, plus the same of water and the rest you could put some water in it to fill completely, but if you buy 2 gallons of coolant then you will have left over...

(just replaced mine yesterday)
