Radiator drain (petcock)??? help

Default Radiator drain (petcock)??? help

i am trying to drain the coolant from my 98 cherokee classic and i cant find the petcock anywhere... how the hell do i drain the coolant if i cant find the drain

Pull the bottom hose off. Some aftermarket radiators have no place to put a drainplug/petcock. Plastic tanks are not suited to them.

the bottom hose is in between a lotttt of crap i dont think i can get to it and im pretty sure it is an aftermarket radiator so there must be no drain... what do i do

You should be able to remove the hose from the radiator after removing the airbox. Its much easier to disconnect the hose from the radiator than from the bottom of the water pump. Make sure to move any wiring out of the way that could get splashed.

x2, just take your filter out and in the bottom of the air box you'll see 3 bolts pull them out and take out the air box. then you got all the room in the world you need to pull the main hose off.
