Quick question. Please and Thank You
Alright so my jeep currently has a 4.5" lift on it. I would like to raise it up to a 8-9 inch lift. What would i have to replace to get it up to a 8-9" lift? I have the front springs in mind and a new leaf packs and most likely a transfer case drop. Am i missing anything? Thanks

hell no to the transfer case drop. your gonna need to shell out the money for a sye and 2 new drive shafts! and then possible add it with a tc drop! u will need long arms in the front! and the d30 or d35 will not want to hold up whatever size tire your thinking about putting on. full widths will be the way to go and thats not um easy. you'll need to replace all your steering linkage. and 8 or 9 inch lift packs in the back haha im thinking 3 link conversion! which will make stuffing a full width axle in much easier.

ditto on the might as well go full width. but to do it on the jeep axles you would need new front coils, upper and lower long arm control arms, new leaf packs, sye, and longer drive shafts. then new shocks and tires. not to mention a longer drop down pitman arm, maybe even cross over steering, and a sway bar for the front. So by the time you add it all up, you'd be better off full width 1 ton'ing it. best of luck

its not all that dramatic.. and you don't Have to go full-width... yea its a little more logical.. but an 8.5" lift with a set of 33's is not a bad setup.... wicked lift but still not bad and the D30/D35 can handle it.... but yes its still an expensive and extensive setup to consider...
not really the setup to run unless your an experienced offroader....
my comanche is setup at 9" lift... but i got lucky with a few corners and haven't had to spend a fortune.......

Sky jacker makes an 8". if you are planning on building the lift kit yourself i would suggest going off of what they use for ideas.
