Default Quick question about used tires

I need some cheap at's or mt's cause i'm broke. I have two mt's on the rear now that are like 75% and the fronts are down to the wear bar and are junk. I wanna get two cheap mt's for the front but can't find any that are willing to sell me just two ....been search for a month now.

Found some at's.... how much would you pay for 4 31" bfg at's with 25% tread? And would they even do me any good on the trail? My rig is 95% trail rig. Thanks

most of the shops around here charge about $25 for a used truck tire. I used to go that route a lot when I was trail blazing through the desert. the plus about running cheap tires is I never got upset when they came home looking like a pin cushion.

For the price my local used tire dealers want for M/T tires I can goto TreadWright.com and get retreads. I laughed my way outta one shop that wanted $75 a piece for 2 BFG 235-75-15 M/Ts, granted they had prob 60-70% tread but I can get brand new Good Year Wrangler 235-75's for $60 a pop

You better check that old Wrangler price again. That tire has 30-year old "technology" and will barely last 15-20K miles for most people.

That was a good price for the superior BFG's as they can be $140+ each new. They are MUCH better than the old Wally World Wranglers. My local Wally World sells those old Wranglers for $79 a tire, but they would rather sell you a Uniroyal Liberator for $115.

I wouldn't put retreads on a wheelbarrow, much less a vehicle that carries passengers.

Update: Wally World's cheapest P235/75R15 is the Goodyear Tracker 2 at $95.00 plus everything else.
