Default Quick question about tire size.. =)

Hi all,

I have a 2000 XJ stock. Can you fit 31" snow tires on a stock XJ? I think the tires on mine right now are 29's. Just curious if that 2 inches will scrape or anything. Whats the biggest tire you can fit in a stock XJ? Thanks in advance.

=)

Yes, they will rub. Your running the biggest size you can without any rubbing on anything.

just take your flares off and cut just a tad on the bottom edges till it dont rub, then rip out all the plastic stuff on the inside of the fender well, thats what i did before i lifted and it works

Stocks should be 225/75/15 which are around 28inches tall. 235-75-15's are close to 30.
