Default Quick APN header question!

Okay so Im looking into buying an APN Header for my 98 xj. That being said at the same time i am going to be upgrading my intake to a 99+, my question is will i have any fitment issues? I have searched all over for the answer and cant quite find my specific set up. Any comments or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You will have to do a little grinding on the last runner of the header. It's pretty simple and definitely worth the little extra work.

I have a 1999 cherokee and the apn header sucks. I had to grind off the last runner on the intake manifold and dimple the apn header to make it fit. Pain in the *** but not a big deal and I expected it.

Installed the header and still had an exhaust leak. Blew out the gasket at the #5 exhaust port, got a high end felpro gasket, still leaked. Copper coat, still leaked.

After taking it apart and putting it together 5 times I ordered a stock replacement header and installed it, worked fine the first time.

Not sure why I had such bad luck but the exhaust manifold flange was slightly warped from the manufacturer and due to me "modifying it" to make it fit a 99 (even though the part says it fits a 1999) I got screwed out of the money for the apn, so my advice is to stay far far away

I have a 99 and did not have to grind anything. And yes, it has a 99 intake. It is imperative that you follow the installation instructions to the letter. I have had no issues at all. It fit great and works great.
