Default question on Xj two doors legroom

or? Just curious if the 2 door and 4 door have the same amount of leg room upfront or if one has more than the other. I currently have a 2000 4 door

Thanks,

David

They are the same. The 2doors have bigger doors and openings to allow access to rear passengers. The 4door front seats do not lean forward like the 2 doors do, makes it hard to find replacement seats.

Don't the seats interchange?

They will, but not the other way. 4 door seats wont work (well) in a 2door. They will bolt up but not fold forward.

Is it true that the 4 door cherokees are built alittle stronger. I hear the 2 doors body's flex more. I think the 2 door looks sportier.

The 4 door is a little stronger due to the extra body pillar.
