Default Question wanting to lift my zj

So i was curious if i could use 2 xj lifts to make one zj lift i have 5.5inch coils from rustys and their 6.5inch coils and lower control arms. will they work on lifting my zj. I know due to the weight i might loose an inch with both. any ideas

i don't see why you couldn't since the zj is the same as the xj on the front and i know the spacers for the rear are just xj front spacers.

i had a 93 zj and when it got totalled, my lift came in the mail the next day. i used it for half of my xj and half of a buddies xj. we just bought shackles for the back

You can put the stock ZJ front springs on the rear for 3.5" and a 2" puck to get 5.5" and use the 5.5" coils in the front. You will need lower control arms minimum front and rear or the tires will be all in the fenders.

so this will give you 5.5" lift you are thinking? that high i would suggest at a minimum adjustable upper and lower control arms front and back. then you need to think about trackbars front and rear, brakelines front and rear also a SYE with drivehsaft

Forgot about trackbars, haven't had a ZJ in about 3 years but I had 4.5" without a SYE or upper arms. Not saying I didn't need them but it can be done on the cheap that's why most 3-4" lift kits don't come with upper or lower control arms.

I have a Teraflex 2" lift for a ZJ that I will sell to you for twenty bucks plus shipping. The lift sells for $150 new, so for about $40 you will have enough lift for 31" tires. The lift is used, but complete. Let me know.
