Ok the top bolt that holds the starter to the bell housing sheered off and well obviously will have to use an easy out to get it out. Do you all think it can be done with the trany in or will I have to drop the trany to get it out?

I would not drop it out I would just lower it down,if you disconnect the rear drivshaft and linkages wires and cross member, you can lower it down and get to it easy, there is Just watch the wiring in the engine,I have done this many times changing the cps and installing top bolts on the trany.
The top bolt screws into the starter, why can't you just remove the starter?

The top bolt also screws into the transmission bell housing and well it's in there. The starter is out that's a non issue. The issue is being able to get enough **** behind a drill to get an easy out in to get the remaining bolt threading out of the bell housing.
