Arrow question about wheelin?

I went wheelin the other day, and I was checking the temp gage to make sure I didn't over heat and it didn't, but i felt like the transmission was running hot (center of vehicle by gear shift) is this normal, whats recomended?

Your transmission will certainly get hotter than normal while wheelin. This is why most guys that run autos get an auxiliary transmission cooler and mount it in front of the radiator.

You should take breaks when you wheel so stuff can cool off, The fluid in shocks gets super hot as well.

This is a good idea and when ever me and my friends go out we stop every 30 min to an hour just to let the jeeps cool and so we can plan our next move

We were doing that at Evans Creek mostly because we had to stop every 30 minutes to get somebody unstuck.

We stop at Walker after finishing each trail before moving on to the next.
