My Radiator fan shroud is broken and it's a metal fan I've been thinking about replacing the shroud but did it originally come with a metal fan? The ones I have been seeing online look like it's plastic. btw my other fan is plastic with like ten blades and the metal one has about five...Need to know before I go and order the wrong thing!

 

They were plastic from the factory.

Look for this on ebay or whatever.

Just ordered it! Is the electric fan just one single unit? because the bottom end of my electric fan is broken and i feel like it's vibrating and causing an annoying noise. Thanks for all the help and sorry about the double post!

 

up grade to newer style 7 blade factory fan 97 and up just gotta splice plug pulls much more air direct bolt in.

 

About the efan, I also recommend the curved bladed efan from 97 and up xjs. If your gonna do it on the cheap, get some bailing wire and latch it to the radiators brackets. I did it for a year lol. My rig was held together with chewing gum and paperclips. But it never left me stranded. If your having with cooling problem, do the lebaron hood vents.
