havent seen the sub. have been very unhappy with quadratec. if you're talking about a subwoofer for your stereo I would buy something from somebody who makes audio equipment not 4x4 parts, and has poor customer service. just my opinion

http://www.quadratec.com/products/74136_700.htm <--I think that is what you are talking about.
I have no experience with them or this product, but i do know there is someone on here building similar ( im sure better due to being hand crafted and not plastic) sub boxes that fit 10 inch or 12 inch subs for a decent price.
That thread is here. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f11/ch...sub-box-30689/
Figured id just toss that out there for you..

as for that setup, I see it lasting a week with decent power going to it... Its a legacy sub.. plus its only an 8... you will blow the cone right off the vc....

Under the seat? the back seat? I'd be concern about heat. Amps get warm... Hot actually... Unless its class D (competition amps)... Maybe under the passenger's seat? Thats where I'm starting to think about....

if you got the bread $$$ for that stuff... Polk is a decent name, but because of vin diesel and paul walker, brands like polk and momo have been teaming up to make junk... Polk by its self is good, but Polk Momo is like the walmart version of it.. In comparison, like the low end sony stuff.... I have an older Sony P5 10" that punches HARD but its powered by a class D amp .
It all depends on what you want to spend..... I'd stay away from brands like dual, lanzar, legacy.... IMO.
