Putting new exhaust on need so help

Yep, bad idea. The baffles being reversed causes the exhaust to be very restrictive. It can easily cause rough idling / CEL. Just look at a clogged converter, you will receive very similar symptoms.

Why didn't you try it loosely bolted on an see if it sounded different? If it sounded muted or any quieter it probably wasn't gonna work out.
I did that with mine (cheap FM knockoff) and it sounded identical. 5,000 miles later, no issues at all

Is the FM knockoff stamped/marked "Inlet" like the real FM?
