Ahh the joys of a 24 year old vehicle. Our old 89's ac hasn't worked in years. The lines are rusted
so I'm wondering if any of the stock r134a compressors and lines would bolt up/fit in the renix setup. I searched all over and can't find anything on it.
So has anyone done this, or what have yall done to get the old a/c systems working again. (I'm restoring this old Jeep

I don't believe u would change any lines or the compressor. The only thing u change is the refrigerant. U gotta have a good compressor and a clean, leak free system with the correct ozs of refrigerant and oil. Google R12 to R134a conversion......lots of good info out there.

you get the lines for the Renix system and get the r134a seals and o-rings.. most compresors are rebuilt with 134a seals now..... and then you need some 134a hope this helps

I knew about the orings I just never really considered it. So where all would the new seals and o-rings have to go? Besides the compressor?
