Default Push start not working

I have a 2011 Jeep Cherokee that has the push start ignition and passive entry (swipe hand in the door handle and as long as the key fob is with you it will unlock the doors). Lately my passive entry is not working, it will take numerous swipes to get the jeep unlocked. Also when trying to get the jeep to start it will give the error key not in vehicle when the key fob is clearly in the console. I have changed the batteries about 6 weeks ago. Please help!!!

You may want to post this in (I'm Guessing the Grand Cherokee section) since this is for the XJ's. You might get a better response there.

The warranty should cover that.

My mother told me that years ago, never realized it was an actual quote. Learned something new.
