It's suppossed to remove "surface tension" from the coolant, I'm thinking that all it removes is 15 bucks from your wallet but I would love to hear testimonials.
I use Water Wetter and it dropped the temps a few degrees. Nothing major but I noticed that it will cool down faster after being stuck at a stoplight. Never used the Royal Purple coolant additive but I use their oil in the Mustang and it dropped my 1/4 mile times a few tenths. They make a good product, Im sure it wont hurt any.

In the past I used both (not at the same time) Water Wetter and Purple Ice in my 2 stroke water cooled bikes and quads. Both were about equal in quality and both were in the area of a 15-25* temp drop...
Good stuff in my eyes..
