Punch me in the face - head gasket BLOWN
All
Started an earlier post about over heat issues. After about every symptom published concerning blown head gaskets -- white smoke, coolant bubbling out of radiator, mysterious coolant loss, oil in coolant, coolant in oil, poor performance getting worse every day -- I finally accepted the fact that my head gasket was blown as I was following the tow truck back to my house.
stripping down the head now and sending to the machine shop for x-Ray, cleaning, and resurfacing.
I was so pissed that this 1999 XJ was on the IR ... So I did what all angry owners would do....I bought my daughter a 1998 XJ. Let the games begin.

If you haven't bought a gasket yet the MLS. Stands for multiple layer steel head gaskets are very good now I know why you were pulling off your manifolds 98 and 99 were the best jeep years
