is there a direct swap for the ps pump or reservoir swap for an 87 xj? my original unit was leaking from the plastic reservoir at a few diff points on the seam. So i replaced it and had to take it back 3 times already for the same problem of leaking at the seam on the plastic tank. Is there a fix for this or am i just doomed until my luck changes? On a good note ive gotten really fast at changing it out lol. thx for the help

 

Got mine from Autozone. It's been a month & no leaks. This was for my 88 not my 84.

Quit buying from Autozone. Go to NAPA or your in AZ is there a Merle's Auto parts around. I now Autozone is cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

 

i usually get everything from napa but they didnt have a pump with a reservoir. Autozone was the only parts store that did, and thats really what i needed because thats what was leaking so i figured why not replace the whole unit while im at it. I figured id give autozone another shot boy was i wrong lol.
