But I just pulled my pump and exchanged it for a reman. Used O'Reilly's free tool rental to pull my pulley off the bad pump and put on the reman.
Fair amount of hidden bolts & nuts to remove. Tight spaces. I could do it a lot faster second time around.

You can actually swap it out rather easily for anything up to 96 and just leave the pulley on the newer pump. They seem to be designed a little better and the resevoir is a little bigger from what I remember. the two bolts from the back come out, the lines come off, then the adjuster bolt and the bolt on the top of the bracket and the newer on lines up perfectly. Not much at all to worry about there

Get a reman - you won't know what shape the JY pump is in, and you'll kick yourself very hard if you have to do this again in a week.
It's a Saginaw pump, and they're simple to change. I do suggest you change both hoses while you're about it - now's as good a time as any. Also, you can either borrow or buy the pump pully puller (I just bought mine - it was something like twenty bucks,) and the pump will come with the screw, nut, and washer you'll use to press the pully on. I do suggest that you put never-seez on the shaft before you press the pully on - it will make it go on a bit easier, and make it easier to remove next time.
