Proud new owner of a 2001 Classic.
This past Saturday I aquired a Cherokee Classic 2001. It's sweet, I am in love already.
I found a love for Jeeps in my friends Wrangler... However Something about the Wrangler just did not suite me... and I was Sold on the Cherokee.
I love this thing already... I switched to this from a 1997 Ford ThunderBird (I will only own rugged reliable Cars I can work on... and the T-Bird was VERY good to me... I beat the thing badly... and it's still running and parked in the Driveway).
My excuse to get it was the fact I am moving up to colorado soon.
Other then that I have wanted one for a few years now.
In fact Im taking it down to the Causeway to drive it before the sun goes down... Little Off road action to satisfy me after the nice dinner I jsut ate
I joined the Forum tonight and hope to get heavily involved here and transform my cherokee into and even greater machine then it already is.

Getting a new jeep is like Christmas. Good choice of vehicles. You won't be disappointed.
Now, wheel it like you stole it!!!

Very cool man, welcome to the great wide (expensive) world of all that is Cherokee. Where are you down here in the ol sunshine state? I love wheeling on some of the old abandoned phosphate digs, or where you can still find the old interstate digs and their trails. I'm located in the Sarasota area BTW, and oh yeah, WE WANT PICS!
