okay..my cherokee is being a pain in the rear and i need some advice..

it has an oil pressure problem.. and knocks, so i think i need to do a bearing job, how hard is this to do? do i have to pull the motor?

secondly, there is a burning rubber smell whenever i get out of the car from a drive.. coming from the engine compartment.

Lastly my ac compressor whines when the outer pulley is spinning, but not when the whole mechanism spins i.e. when the ac is on... is it shot?

any opinons would be appreciated

 

mine has a oil pressure problem and knocks and has a rear main seal thats leaking as well....the burning smell could be oil leaking onto the exhust, mine smells like that after driving it. depending on how many miles is on it, it probably would be better to rebuild the whole motor than just replace bearings.....

 

its a 2000 with 130k
