Default Pro comp 3" lift

would like to get some feed back on this lift kit, right now they have a $250 rebate, so seems like a good price, I really would like to replace the leaf pack instead of add a leaf, but my budget can't afford it right now, but maybe in the future.

http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=13781

Would I have to do the Slip yoke eliminator kit of this lift??

What about the pitman arm?

Any other things to consider??

Looks like the most complete kit out there.

SYE prob not necessary but unless you have good stock leaf springs I'd stay away from add a leafs, they tend to sag after about 6 months. You can get full leaf kits from other mfgs for about the same price (minus the rebate of course). Oh and their shocks suck.

Looks good man, ES3000's are some good shocks. i had them on my last cherokee.
and they worked real well, and lasted a while!

If you're interested in a nice 3'' lift. Rough Country as a full kit for 400 Shipped.
Thats what i just went with.

coils. add-a-leaf. shocks, and sway bar mounts.
I love it. stiff ride. shows no mercy!

I put the ProComp 3" on my 98 about 6 months ago and I am very happy with the purchase. My back end does have minor sagging, but it was sagging before the AAL's - it really doesn't bother me for now. Like you, my budget was limited and one day I will replace with full packs.

Don't worry about SYE unless you experience vibes after the install. Most people at this height don't run one and don't need one. Mine just needed a good alignment. Kit included track bar drop bracket, sway bar links, and maybe some other goodies.

Some people complain about pro comp shocks, but I think they feel fine - at least they are better than the 12 year old ones that were on there! Of course you can always spend more in order to get more. IMO this is great kit at a great price.

I am glad to hear there are a few people out there with positive comments on the Pro Comp.

I checked out the rough country not bad, but if I order the procomp through 4wd I can get the free shipping to 4wheel Parts

Thanks for all the posts
