I trimmed my fenders recently and removed my factory rear bumper end caps. I didn't like the way it looked with out caps. The caps on my 2001 run all the way to the fender flares and 96 and older basically cover the bumper end. I had to slightly modify the older end caps to fit, but I think they came out pretty good. I had to notch the end pieces so the hatch would shut ans drill a couple of holes.
