Thought some people here may find this site interesting. The PQIA tests off-the-shelf motor oils and ATFs, posts the results of the analyses, and calls out those fluids that don't meet the API standards.

Wow. A trove of info there. To bad they didn't get to Castrol 30W, (and also Quaker State 30W). I learned not to use the Casrtol on drill bits or sawing metal, they won't cut well. (usually ATF is handy and works much better)
