power windows not working
my 2000 jeep cherokees power windows quit working. I have checked the fuses, replaced the drivers side switch panel. I was wondering if there was a relay that i am missing or some other glich. the haynes manual does not cover the power windows very well, and i have found that the wiring diagram does not match the wires in the truck. HELP before my black jeep melts me inside cause the a/c went out last year and i just want to open a window.
did all the windows stop working?
My 2001 did the same thing last year. It turned out to be the ground that runs from the drivers switch panel through the door into the kick panel. I'm not gonna lie taking all that apart was a b*tch. But once i got the door panel apart, pulled the rubber sleeve off the wiring and unwrapped the wires it was obvious which wire was broke. I ran a new one same gauge works fine now.

same problem here. I might as well have posted exactly what gmrjeep posted! hah. except nothing works on the master switch, no windows work on the other doors, but the lock switch works on the other doors. I'll take a closer look at the wiring.
