The power windows on my 89 are toast.
I took them apart, and there is a nylon track the motor gear runs,
and it has broken teeth and worn out.

Can I get replacement parts at reasonable prices?
Or junkyard only option? (parts probably going bad too..)

Is it possible to do something else to fix them.

The driver and passenger front doors are the main problems,
the back doors are OK.

 

I wanted to follow up and let you know I fixed my windows.
I got some manual mechanism from a parts donor.
They are basically the same as the power units.
In particular, the cables are the same. My drivers door cable was bad,
and I could just swap in a cable from a manual crank window.

The power motors are all the same for the four doors.
So I swapped out the one in back, which was good and strong, for the the drivers door unit, which was really weak. It requires drilling out the rivets and then reassemble them with bolts. works great now.
The back I swapped with a manual unit. no problem.
