Default Power window wiring

I have an 89 laredo with roll up windows. I also have a set of doors that are power windows. Is that any stock wiring that is in the jeep that I can connect to? Like is the jeep pre wired for the power? I want the power windows on on the jeep. Thanks for the info

No, there is a harness that goes across the front under the dash with plugs on it. You will need that, or make your own. But unless you are good with wiring, get the harness so the windows and locks will operate from the driver side.

Ok. I have a parts jeep that is power I can get it from there. Now, the next part do you know if the newer like 96+ (ones with the full window) power doors will work if I get this wiring? B/c I also have a set of those. I can convert them to roll up if I have to but would like the power.

I am not sure the plugs will match. Certainly the colors on the wires won't. That seems to change periodically. What you can do is change the components in the doors. Drill the pop rivets out. I have done it using very short allen screws with nylock nuts on the back. The will be rattle free.

Thanks you for the info. I plan to make them able to be pulled off to so I will make my own connection point if I keep them power.
